The BIORIGIN difference
Biorigin Spirulina is grown at an elevation of 2,500 metres, in an exceptionally pure location in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador.
This location is blessed with an exceptional microclimate that perfectly meets Spirulina’s needs in order for it to grow, pure air, and a guaranteed supply of pure water.
The Biorigin Spirulina production process uses natural phosphates and natural mineral salts called Chilean nitrates. Chilean nitrates come from well-known natural deposits and contain 15% nitrogen, 18.4% sodium, 11.6% potassium, 1% sulphur (as sulphates), as well as 0.12% calcium, 0.14% magnesium, and a number of trace elements-in other words, all the micronutrients needed to grow Spirulina successfully.
An exclusive production process
The Spirulina is grown in a closed environment to ensure that its purity can be controlled more effectively (without any organic or atmospheric pollution).
Drying takes place on a fluid bed in accordance with an exclusive process developed in Switzerland. Unlike standard drying processes, this method prevents cell destruction and protects Spirulina’s active ingredients against oxidation.
A guarantee for a product that reflects the highest possible quality
